Hand Lettering

My passion for hand painted lettering came about in 2019 when I took a painting course with the Portland based Studio Sign Co. I was already interested in lettering arts, at the time I was drawing letters and editing them digitally. After learning how to paint a letter properly, I found I really enjoyed the meditative and somewhat mechanical process of painting letters and words. I still practice regularly, and try to slip in some hand painted work for clients when it seems fitting. Here is a collection of some of those projects.
